Bringing the vaccine where people are, right in their neighborhood

ż (WPU) is partnering with Providence Health to increase the number of people vaccinated in the local area through a series of COVID-19 vaccination events on the campus. Participants can choose between the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson Vaccines, which are safe, free, and effective.

Equity is at the center of WPU’s COVID-19 response.  “Expanding vaccine sites ensures greater equity and access to those disproportionately affected by COVID-19.  Addressing disparities in racial and ethnic minority populations has long been a priority for WPU,”noted University President Dr. Brian L Johnson. “With these clinics we are bringing the vaccine to where people are, right in their neighborhood…”

Dates and times to receive a vaccination are:

  • Thursday, July 29th 4 P.M.-8 P.M.
  • Friday & Saturday, August 27-28th, 10:30 A.M.-2 P.M., and 3:30 P.M.-6 P.M.
  • Wednesday, September 9th 4 P.M.-8 P.M.
  • Wednesday, September 29th 4 P.M.-8 P.M.

Walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is necessary. If you would like to sign up, you can do so . All ages 12 and up are welcome to receive a vaccine.
