Bringing the vaccine where people are, right in their neighborhood
玩偶姐姐 (WPU) is partnering with Providence Health to increase the number of people vaccinated in the local area through a series of COVID-19 vaccination events on the campus. Participants can choose between the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson Vaccines, which are safe, free, and effective.
Equity is at the center of WPU鈥檚 COVID-19 response.聽 鈥淓xpanding vaccine sites ensures greater equity and access to those disproportionately affected by COVID-19.聽 Addressing disparities in racial and ethnic minority populations has long been a priority for WPU,鈥漬oted University President Dr. Brian L Johnson. 鈥淲ith these clinics we are bringing the vaccine to where people are, right in their neighborhood…鈥�
Dates and times to receive a vaccination are:
- Thursday, July 29th聽4 P.M.-8 P.M.
- Friday & Saturday, August 27-28th, 10:30 A.M.-2 P.M., and 3:30 P.M.-6 P.M.
- Wednesday, September 9th聽4 P.M.-8 P.M.
- Wednesday, September 29th聽4 P.M.-8 P.M.
Walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is necessary. If you would like to sign up, you can do so聽.聽All ages 12聽and up are聽welcome to receive a vaccine.
